Storyline

Plot Summary:Sir Robert Chiltern is a successful Government minister, well-off and with a loving wife. All this is threatened when Mrs Cheveley appears in London with damning evidence of a past misdeed. Sir Robert turns for help to his friend Lord Goring, an apparently idle philanderer and the despair of his father. Goring knows the lady of old, and, for him, takes the whole thing pretty seriously.

Okay, here’s the thing. My husband and I have been married 1 1/2 years. We have a great marriage. We both have the same ideals and morals. Well, he’s been away on business, which leaves me home alone for a week at a time. While gone on business, I just found at that he and his bosses have been spending a lot of time at Hooters, and bars and stuff at night. I trust him and all, but I keep getting this horrible jealousy feeling and try to just look past it, but it’s hard. I feel bad for feeling this way towards him, but I just can’t help it. I do not want to be controlling in any way, so I’ve held back expressing my feelings to him about this, but it’s really getting to me. What should I do? Or how can I just get past it? It’s really hard just because he’s never been the type that does that kind of thing, and neither am I, and we’ve always kind of prided ourselves in being that way. I know he’s not cheating or anything, so why do I feel so hurt?
So many helpful answers! Thanks! I should add that he has been totally honest- when I ask him where he went, but he doesn’t offer that up by himself, which I can understand. I do realize he’s there on business, and sometimes that means doing what the bosses want to do, its just hard for me I guess. I think its jealousy, getting to me. And I don’t want to be that way. I think I’ll talk to him about it, and maybe it’ll make me feel better.

how come the "ideal gender" is a boy?
I’m a girl and I love being a girl, and I wouldn’t want to be a guy.. I mean really. Bad things about a girl Period&Cramps- I don’t get bad cramps, a slap on a pad, and I’m good to go, plus they feel good. like diapers. hehe. i always loved my diaper as a little tot. Childbirth: i plan on adopting when i grow up. it’s my body, and i don’t want to go through that. first time sex hurting: im going to wait til im married so i dont think itll hurt as much coz my husband will be gentle ill make him be gentle or else drama: guys go through just as much drama as girls do, plus they are more violent. they talk behind eachothers backs just as much!! spending hours putting on makeup: im 13, i dont wear makeup, and even when im 40 years old i don’t ever plan on wearing makeup. i get up at 7:20 in the morning and im outta the house by 7:41 (only coz i take a long time to eat breakfast) so im not one of "those" girls who wear heeps of gross makeup.. and i heard people say that girls have sex earlier than guys- but i find this impossible? it takes 2 people to have sex. a boy and a girl. how can a girl have sex earlier than a guy if they are both having it together- at the same time ?!?!?!?!?! this is just sexist isn’t it? so really how come a guy would rather be a guy, and a girl would rather be a guy? and parents would rather have a baby boy..
why are boys better than girls? i mean.. alot of people also said teen girls are evil and mouth off to their parents but so do guys. sometimes even worse. plus guys are just as mean as girls are. i wouldnt say a certain gender is meaner. i’d say teenagers in general are just nasty (and im a teen so im not trying to be a teenbasher, but im in grade 8 and gosh, people are hurrendus) anyways im rambling. can someone tell me why everyone wants to be a guy??????????????? or most people do. my mom and sister and all my friends are like "ugh i wish i were a boy they’re so lucky" ..and on the internet i see it too. i just know a few guys in real life who wish they were girls. but they get over it in a mere week..

I need some motivation can you help? (women only)?
Here’s the thing I have had three kids and I am wanting to loose the weight that I gained from those pregnancies. But my problem is I don’t have the motivation to keep dieting and exercising. My husband needs to work out too, but he would prefer to sit on his @$$ and play WOW or xbox 360. My mother said that she would start walking with me but that never happened and I just don’t have the will to want to work out by myself. That’s why I need your help, I need ideals to help me to be more motivated and to actually loose the weight that I’m wanting to loose. Any exercise and diet plan ideals would be helpful too. Thank you for your help its very much appreciated.

should my husband get fired for not picking up his co-worker that didn’t have a ride to come to work?
Today my husband boss come to him and ask him why he didn’t pick up one of the co-worker that didn’t have ride to work. my husband told his boss he didn’t that he supposed to pick him up. his boss told him that he left a message for mu husband to pick him up but my answer his boss back that he didn’t receive any message. so his boss told him not to go back to work so i guess he just got fired for something that is not even his fault and why should he responsible for someone that they supposed to fine there own ride way to work. my husband didn’t get pay for mileage or gas for picking up a co-worker. so please get me an ideal what should I do next, should file for a law sue?

Friends husband might be inappropiate, how should I handle this?
I posted a profile on a website. My former co-worker, and now good friend divorced her husband and he requested to be my friend on the website. I have come into contact with him through her in her home, as he is his ex-husband and they maintain a friendship for their children. Professionally we all work in healthcare so we share tips, ideals, complaints, job insight when I am at her home. My friend (his wife) divorced him becasue he was a habitual cheater.I attended their child’s b-day part and felt uncomfortable as he occupied my time talking about nursing, but yet starring me down. Now he requested to be my friend and keeps doing so checking the status frequently, he told me he thought I was sexy , but yet maintianed that he knew my friend (his ex wife) and I were close and he intended to try nothing. His ex-wife frequents my page and I know she is aware of him contacting me and now being on my friends list. Is this inappropiate to add him so he will back off. I am NOT interested in talking to him other than professionally, but if I add him, it will make her think I have went behind her back or having a conversations with him. I do not want to ruin my friendship as I care about her feelings . I am not being arrogant but I have very few female friends beacuse my looks and personality bring out the dog in their husbands, or boyfriends.
